EMFACE is a completely comfortable and tolerable procedure. The sensation feels like a warm massage pulling and lifting your forehead and cheeks.
There’s no downtime; this is a true non-invasive and needle-free treatment. You can return to work and continue your normal daily activities right after your appointment or get the treatment done before an event.
After your first EMFACE treatment, you can experience an immediate lifting effect, but optimal results will occur about 8-12 weeks after the fourth treatment. We recommend about four EMFACE sessions for patients, although needs vary from person to person. It is important to be well hydrated by drinking plenty of water before and after your appointments, allowing RF energy to flow easily and influence skin tightening during treatment. Avoid taking NSAIDs, steroids topical or oral for at least 5 days before treatment, and let our professionals know if you have had any recent derma fillers and or Botox injections. On the day of the treatment, avoid coming in with any lotions, creams, or makeup on the face. Your face will be wiped with rubbing alcohol before placement of the pads, but having clean skin will help our specialist get you set up for treatment.
