Anti-Aging Gets Under Your Skin

ReSpa offers a number of non-invasive anti-aging treatments, from Exion - RF Targeted Ultrasound and EMFACE. However, many of the most popular anti-aging treatments involve minimally-invasive injections of fillers, neuromodulators, and even platelet-rich plasma (PRP).

These treatments may be administered alone or in combination with RF Microneedling and other innovative treatments, allowing ReSpa clients to intelligently counteract visible effects of aging with little or no downtime.

How They Work

DAXXIFY™

Neuromodulators
At our spa, we proudly offer Daxxify, an advanced neurotoxin that stands out for its longer-lasting effects compared to traditional Botox. Clients can expect to see visible results within just 48 hours, making it an excellent choice for quick enhancement. Daxxify is also infused with peptides, which not only help improve skin texture but also promote a healthy, radiant glow. Experience the benefits of this innovative treatment for a youthful and refreshed appearance!

Dermal Fillers

(Juvéderm®, Revanesse VERSA HA®)
Dermal fillers counteract the loss of volume that naturally occurs with aging. These treatments replenish your skin’s supply of hyaluronic acid (HA) to restore the plump and full appearance of youthful skin.

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)

Also known as a “vampire facial” this increasingly popular treatment involves re-injecting a patient’s own platelet-enriched blood to rejuvenate skin and diminish visible signs of aging, such as wrinkles, creases, and even small scars.

What Neuromodulators and Dermal Fillers Treat

These aesthetic injection treatments are designed to diminish the signs of aging and restore a youthful-looking appearance

Dermal Filler Treatments

Dermal Fillers such as Juvéderm® and Revanesse Versa HA® are injected in key areas of the face to restore volume lost to the natural aging process. These popular treatments strategically restore hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance found naturally in the body, adding volume to skin while delivering essential moisture and nutrients to create a more full and youthful appearance.
These fillers are often tailored to the specific needs of certain areas, such as forehead, lips, chin, or neck, allowing our aestheticians to customize and optimize each treatment and refine facial features as desired.
Treatments take 20-30 minutes, and require no downtime or recovery. Immediate improvement may be seen, with full effects apparent after the skin has absorbed the HA over two weeks. Results normally last up to 18 months, and can be extended with touch-up treatments as needed.

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Treatments

Blood platelets can have a remarkably restorative effect upon the body, which is why platelet-rich plasma treatments are often used in hair restoration treatments, as well as being used as a dermal filler. In addition to reducing lines and creases, PRP treatments can also even improve the appearance of small scars and blemishes.
Many patients appreciate how these powerful treatments use NO artificial ingredients whatsoever, and instead merely re-apply a patient’s own enriched blood.

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Treatments

With PRP treatments (also known as “vampire facials”), blood is withdrawn from the patient, and then spun in a centrifuge to separate it into layers containing a high density of platelets. This enriched blood is then injected back into the face.
PRP treatments take 45 minutes to an hour, with no downtime, and results typically last from 6-9 months.

General Questions about HA Dermal Fillers

HA dermal fillers are injectable treatments made from hyaluronic acid, a substance that naturally occurs in the body and helps retain moisture, providing volume and hydration to the skin.
HA fillers are used to restore facial volume, smooth out wrinkles and fine lines, enhance contours, and provide hydration to the skin.

Revanesse Versa

Revanesse Versa is a hyaluronic acid filler designed to provide natural-looking volume and smoothness in facial areas.
Common treatment areas include the lips, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and cheeks.
Results can last up to 12 months, depending on the treatment area and individual factors.
Possible side effects include swelling, bruising, redness, and tenderness at the injection site, which usually resolve within a few days.

Juvederm

Juvederm is a popular family of HA dermal fillers used for facial volume restoration and wrinkle reduction.
Juvederm can be used in various areas, including the lips, cheeks, nasolabial folds, and under the eyes.
Results can last from six months to two years, depending on the specific product used (e.g., Juvederm Ultra, Juvederm Voluma).
Common side effects include swelling, bruising, redness, and tenderness, typically resolving within a few days.

General Questions for Both Revanesse Versa and Juvederm

Both fillers are FDA-approved and considered safe when administered by qualified professionals.
Yes, many practitioners use both fillers to achieve a balanced and comprehensive facial enhancement.
The procedures are typically quick, often taking less than an hour. Discomfort is usually minimal, and numbing agents can be used to enhance comfort.
Avoid blood thinners (like aspirin and alcohol) a few days before your appointment to minimize bruising, and inform your provider about any medical conditions or medications.
Results from both Revanesse Versa and Juvederm are typically visible immediately after treatment, although some swelling may occur initially.

General Questions about Neuromodulators

Neuromodulators are injectable treatments that temporarily relax facial muscles to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
They block nerve signals to the muscles, preventing them from contracting, which smooths out wrinkles.
Common areas include forehead lines, crow's feet, and frown lines between the eyebrows.

Jeuveau

Jeuveau is a neuromodulator specifically designed for aesthetic use to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
While both contain botulinum toxin type A, Jeuveau is formulated for cosmetic use only and has a different manufacturing process, which may result in a quicker onset of action for some users.
Results typically last around three to four months.

Botox

Botox is one of the most well-known neuromodulators, used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
Results generally last three to six months, depending on individual factors and the area treated.
Botox has been used for years, with extensive research and a long track record of safety and efficacy.

Daxxify

Daxxify is a newer neuromodulator that uses a different formulation to potentially provide longer-lasting results compared to other neurotoxins.
Daxxify is designed to last longer, with effects lasting up to six months or more in some patients. It may also have a unique formulation that affects how the body responds to the injection.
Daxxify's longer-lasting effects may reduce the frequency of treatments for patients seeking lasting wrinkle reduction.

General Considerations

When administered by qualified professionals, all FDA-approved neuromodulators, including Jeuveau, Botox, and Daxxify, are considered safe.
The choice may depend on individual preferences, treatment goals, and consultation with a healthcare provider. Each has unique properties that may suit different needs.
The treatment process is typically quick and may involve minimal discomfort, often using topical numbing agents.
Results can be seen within a few days, with full effects typically visible within two weeks.
